God Bless! I certainly know what I'm thankful for this Thanksgiving; my family means the world to me!
Well, there is a first time for everything I guess! For the first night our little Peighton slept in her bassinet for the whole night! She did get up around 5 to eat, and then went right back into her bassinet again until Daddy got her up around 9ish I think it was. I just can't believe it! Chadd was elated, and I slept as close to her as possible so that I could actually sleep (even though the bassinet is butted right up to my side of the bed, and she was probably only 4" further away from me than normal!). Chadd was teasing me this morning, saying that he was going to grab one of Addi's dolls for me to sleep with now at night so that I can fall asleep while Peighton is in the bassinet (in case you are wondering, she has been sleeping in my arms for the past 5 weeks - she didn't want to be put down, and I didn't want to put her down!). At first my response was 'haha.' but now I'm starting to think that it may not be a bad idea!!!
Chadd and I were able to get the studio cleaned up for the most part yesterday. We're still waiting for a floor to finish it. As incredibly excited as I am to finally get it done you wouldn't think it would be so hard for me to go and pick out a floor, but for some reason I just can't do it! I keep changing my mind on the color....at this rate the kids will be graduating from college by the time I decide! I'm thinking I may go out next week however and just pick one out. I have to get it overwith! My goal is to have it done by the time I start doing sessions again. I'd better get it together!!!
Here are a few more pics of Peighton since she slept through the halloween festivities (although don't be fooled; she was there, she was just sleeping through it in mommy's sling!). As you will see here, Carson is so taken with her! He has really turned into my big helper. She's going to love having him as an older brother!

So I'm wondering, what time/day/month is it?! Is it even 2006 still?! I want to know where the time is going! It seems like each day is over in a blink. I just can't believe it! Our little peanut is 5 weeks old already, and growing and changing by the minute it seems! Carson's 4th birthday is quickly approaching now as well, and Addi's birthday will be following shortly after. Could someone please slow this life down for us!!?
The month of October was great for us...and Halloween was a treat! The kids were so excited to go trick or treating this year! Addi had decided to be a 'Rose Princess' (basically a pink dress that came with some rose accessories), and Carson had picked out a 'Mr. Incredible' costume, although he ended up wearing a dinosaur costume that we already had when the big night came around. And since Peighton couldn't make up her mind on what she wanted to be, she just ended up wearing a cute orange sweater with a bear hat. :) We had so much fun! I'll be posting a few more halloween pics in a new halloween album on the side of the blog.
Well, I have to get going already. Peighton is sleeping on me in the front pack, and I need to take advantage of these two free hands so that I can get the studio cleaned up for some upcoming sessions. I can't wait to see you guys again!
